Country Music Interior

How to Build a Dream XI.10, Borek u Jílového

The theme of another episode of How to Build a Dream was the transformation of a bedroom and study for a country musician. It was the attic of a cabin on the edge of the woods, and was really cramped. We drew our inspiration from the atmosphere of the movie Walk the Line, and old posters of Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan.

The stylish interior is completed by a BKF butterfly armchair, an old ship's cabin trunk, a fireplace, and of course guitars. The carpenter very cleverly built the storage areas into the timber framework of the roof, and the studio Zdravá záda built a bespoke bed. We were back in our element and it's fair to say we all loved this episode. Discussion on iDNES.
